And I think there is something even beyond the idea of keeping the dogs warm but the fact that they have something of their own. I see the dogs at our shelter get excited because of a bandanna! I truly believe that they know it is for "them", it is comforting to them to have something "warm and snuggly" surrounding them and gives them a sense of belonging.
