Believe it or not, dairy products can be added to foods that help you lose weight. Dairy such as low-fat yogurt, cheese and low fat milk. These are high in calcium and they breakdown the fat cells faster. Also, dairy products are high in protein and therefore can help suppress hunger.
Foods that help you lose weight would also be natural oatmeal. Instead of reaching for the sugary cereal go ahead and get that oatmeal and enjoy it. Oatmeal has fiber in it and it prevent your body from holding on to the fat and it help suppress your appetite plus it increases your energy level.
If you’re looking for something to snack on, foods that help you lose weight are raw nuts! They are good source of fiber and fights hunger. It also is high on protein and Omega – 3 that helps burn fat faster. Just be sure to reach for raw nuts and not roasted or salty.
Eating more fish in your diet also made the list of foods that help you lose weight. Fish such as: tuna, salmon, sardines – these create a fat-burning hormone in your body called Leptin. Leptin is a hormone that determines to either store the food we eat as fat or to burn the calories for energy. Not only will fish help you feel full but they also fight depression.
Adding spices to your foods like garlic, cinnamon, hot peppers and cayenne peppers, hot mustard – these increase the fat burning metabolism even after 3 hours from eating them. Studies have shown that spicy mustard burned an extra 45 to 57 calories over a period of 3 hours.
Garlic is also a diuretic that helps flush excess water weight. As well as lemon and lime – these are all natural diuretics.
